SOFT MACHINE IN MILAN
An amazing night with the music of UK band Soft Machine. Armed with two cameras – Fuji X100 and Olympus OM-D E-M5 (+ Zuiko 17 mm f2.8 + Zuiko 30 mm f3.5 Macro) – I’ve recorded the mid afternoon soundcheck and the live show at La casa di Alex, in Milan. Guitarist John Etheridge joined the opening act, Paolo Ricca Group, before coming back on stage as headliner, with his historical fellows John Marshall, Roy Babbington and Theo Travis.
Free to move around the stage, I took b&w pics very close to the musicians, trying as usual to recreate an early Seventies magic rock atmosphere. ENJOY!
